Lake Manyara National Park

Lake Manyara National Park is one of Tanzania’s most beautiful and diverse safari destinations, famous for its tree-climbing lions, lush groundwater forests, flamingo-filled lake, and breathtaking Rift Valley scenery. Located between Arusha and Ngorongoro Crater, the park is a popular stop on Tanzania’s northern safari circuit and offers unforgettable wildlife experiences in a compact yet spectacular landscape.

Covering approximately 330 square kilometers, the park stretches along the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment and surrounds the shallow alkaline Lake Manyara, which attracts thousands of birds and wildlife throughout the year.
